Editorial and Affiliate Disclosure

Trust matters most when money is involved, so this page explains plainly how NetWorthNowCalc is written, how it may be funded, and what you can expect from us.

Who publishes the site

NetWorthNowCalc is operated by Numerlyn LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. Content is written and reviewed by our own team. Nothing on the site is written by or for an advertiser.

Affiliate relationships: none at this time

We currently have no active affiliate partnerships. We do not earn a commission if you click a link on this site, open an account, or buy a product, and no company pays us to be mentioned. If that ever changes, we will state it on this page and place a clear disclosure next to every affected link, before you click it, in line with the US Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements and material connections.

Advertising

The site may display advertising from Google AdSense or similar networks in the future. Ads are placed by the ad network and are labeled as advertising. We do not choose which advertiser appears next to a particular article, an ad is never an endorsement, and advertising never changes what our articles say or how the calculator works. The privacy policy explains what data an ad network may collect and how to opt out.

How articles are written

Each guide starts with a question a real beginner would ask, such as what counts as an asset or why a net worth can be negative. We explain it in plain language, work through an example with simple invented numbers that are labeled as examples, and point out common mistakes. When we state a real statistic, we take it from a primary source, for example the Federal Reserve's Survey of Consumer Finances, name the source and year in the text, and avoid rounding the claim into something the source does not say. When we cannot verify a number, we leave it out or describe it in general terms.

Corrections

We correct mistakes promptly. If you notice an error, email contactnumerlyn@gmail.com with the page address and what is wrong. We will verify it against the original source and update the page.
